Conditions can change rapidly and vary over short distances. The site cannot assess your ability, equipment, health, local currents, submerged hazards or access to help. No chart, example, photograph or explanation here states that a beach is safe. Follow current official notices, closures and lifeguard instructions, and seek qualified instruction appropriate to your activity.

Panels labelled illustrative are invented teaching examples, not current conditions or predictions for a named location. Photographs are illustrative and not live reports. We aim for clear explanations, but material may contain errors, omissions or outdated information. Availability, completeness and uninterrupted operation are not guaranteed.
